My name is ARI BLAU

I was born in Philadelphia, and raised in Cape May, NJ. I went to Temple University for two years before I transferred to NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. I graduated from NYU's film program in May 2012. I now reside in Brooklyn, NY and primarily live off of peach Snapple and buttered noodles. Even at a young age, I was always tried to make other people laugh. At my Bar-Mitzvah, I wanted my theme to be, “Blau Me,” but my mom said it was too offensive. Instead, I settled for, “Come Safari With Ari.” It was quite the hit! I’ve always been fascinated with acting and filmmaking. My main passion is comedy, and that is what a majority of my time is spent working on today. Nothing makes me smile more than making other people laugh and smile. I have been performing stand-up comedy along with acting and producing original comedy videos (sketches, prank videos, short films, etc.) that I upload to my YouTube channel. I do my best to upload one video a week. During my time at NYU, I was an intern for NBC's Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. It was a blessing to be surrounded by such talented comedians at both show, and I hope to someday be as lucky as them. My motto in life is, "Don’t talk about it. Be about it.” You’ll often hear or see me use the term, “Live The Dream." I love that quote, and not a day goes by where I don't focus on advancing my career. I want to someday "live the dream," but along the way I want to inspire others to live theirs as well. If you’re going to dream, dream BIG! Keep It Kosher! –Ari Seth Blau
